Today was a quiet day. Temps got almost to 40 degrees today. Felt like a heatwave. I looked oustide and there were all these kind of big black birds flying in the sky. I mean gave you that feeling of the The Birds. Remember that movie? I tried to get a picture and these are the best I could do, but they were everywhere.

I worked on my cathedral window quilt and restarted my Libelle (Sherry Goshen class on DollStreet). I'm glad I took this picture. Her armature looks proportioned right when I look at her, but this picture makes it look like I need to give her a bit more torso length. You guys are so right about a picture really showing you what is wrong.

I remember the movie, The Birds. Sometimes, our early evening sky looks like that except it's fruit bats, not birds.

Yep, putting a pic on the computer screen really helps in spotting areas that need adjustment.

Isn't it weird how your eyes can notice things from a photo of your work, that your eyes don't see when looking directly at the object?

Looks like that flock of birds is looking for somewhere to feed and roost. I don't like it when we get big flocks of birds hanging around- they can sure make a mess.

a pic is so worth it just to check on our projects at early stages...

I don't always like the proportions that others do on some of my dolls... my Fair Lady has legs almost up to boobs...which are gargantuan...hhahahah... I think I prefer long legs so they look willowy, long and lean... not pudgy when I put them in clothing.....true human proportions are definitely not for me....

We watch that movie every once in awhile and yes that could be a scene right out of it.

2D is my magic wand -- no distractions. Just what's there. I couldn't create without it!
