Tuesday Jan 27

Hi everybody! I am posting early tonight. I have been trying to figure out how you guys get your pictures in different areas of your dialogue. Every time I try to do that, when I bring the pics in they just come out at the top. Oh well, maybe someday I will figure it out. Today, I have a picture of this fabulous yarn I bought about a year ago. It is wool and hand dyed. I paid a ridiculous price for it, but hey it is a once in a life time thing. Anyway, I really wanted to make a poncho out of it but I wanted a poncho with sleeves. I finally found a pattern for one, but it is done all in garter stitch which I really don't care for in this yarn. So, I have decided to do it in stockinette and see if I can figure it out. Anyway, if and when I finish it, I hope it fits and I think it will be beautiful. I went downtown today because the store I bought it in is really quaint and was in the refurbished carrousel district. To my shock the store is gone. So, I took a picture of two murals that are painted on the sides of buildings downtown. One is a mural of the town and the other of Johnny Appleseed. I guess he spent a lot of time here back in the day. We do have several apple orchards around here. Also, I am still trying to get info on Mickey Mouse, but the guy that everyone thinks will know is in Hawaii...must be nice. Also, about those cacti, they are huge, as in 6' and more!

I love buildings with murals. Very pretty yarn. When I bring pics in they are also at the top. I do them one at a time when I need them. Copy them, delete from the top and paste in where you want them to be.

Add all images you want, usually they will be on the top pf your post, then copy, cut and paste from to into the text where you want to have the picture.
Lovely yarn!

I organise my pics in the HTML tab and just as Carla says.....after uploading, they are all at the top, then I Copy and Paste each image separately where I want it to go. After you've pasted into the new location, delete it from the top....and remember to click Save or Publish when you're done.

Lovely pics....I'll look forward to seeing how things work out with the yarn.

Cheryl... once you get get them into the dialogue box... just left click on a pic and you can drag it anywhere you want. If you just put one on to try it... click the "enter" button down until it goes below the first picture to give you space to move it ..

I usually put on pics... print some dialogue...and move the picks to the last letter of a sentence ..then enter once or twice to leave a space. I probably don't do it quite how it should be done...but, after some tweaking and backing and forthing...I do get the pics and the printing lined up where I want it.

My goodness, your murals are very handsome! The yarn is beautiful. I've never knitted anything with yarn like that, the "curly" kind. I'll be anxious to see your sweater when you get it done...or a work-in-progress photo, maybe?

I love yarn and that is yummy colors, I enjoyed the mural pictures too.
What you do is upload the photos first and then you'll be able to write under each one what you want to say about it, it took me awile too before I figured it out.

I am a bonafied yarn junkie -- that stuff is just calling out to me to touch it!

Everybody else has pretty much covered the photo question -- just play with it. I don't know anything about HTML, so if I can do it, I know you can.

Great old murals and also see that very large pile of snow in the first pic.

More snow!! He is a cutie, your sweater is having a great start and no doubt you will lose the weight, you have about the same amount I do to lose.
